RECIPE: Iced Orange Matcha
Looking for the perfect summer Matcha drink? Our World Cup Special Iced Orange Matcha combines vibrant ceremonial Matcha with tropical mango purée and a touch of strawberry purée for a naturally bright orange color. Served over ice with your choice of milk or as a refreshing mocktail with lemonade or coconut water, it's the perfect drink to celebrate summer and cheer on the Netherlands during the World Cup.
Tools & Equipment
- Bamboo whisk (chasen)
- Matcha bowl (chawan)
- Drinking glass
- Measuring spoon
Ingredients (for 1 drink)
Orange Fruit Base
- 2 tbsp mango purée
- 1 tsp strawberry purée
Matcha
- 3 grams ceremonial or premium grade Matcha
- 50 ml water (max. 80°C / 176°F)
Latte Version

150–200 ml milk of choice
- oat, almond, soy, or coconut milk
- Ice cubes
Mocktail Version
- 150–200 ml lemonade or coconut water
- Ice cubes
Directions
Step 1 — Create the Orange Fruit Base
Add the mango purée and strawberry purée to the bottom of a glass. Stir gently until combined to create a vibrant orange layer.
Step 2 — Fill the Glass
Fill the glass generously with ice cubes.
Step 3 — Add the Base
For a creamy latte, pour your milk of choice over the ice.
For a refreshing mocktail, use lemonade or coconut water instead.
Step 4 — Whisk the Matcha
In a bowl, whisk the Matcha with the water for about 20 seconds until smooth and lightly foamy.
Step 5 — Assemble the Drink
Slowly pour the Matcha shot over the milk or mocktail base to create a beautiful layered effect.
Step 6 — Serve
Stir before drinking and enjoy the refreshing combination of Matcha and tropical fruit.
Tip
Oat milk creates an extra creamy texture, while coconut water gives the drink a light, tropical twist. For an extra festive World Cup touch, garnish with an orange slice or fresh strawberry.

RECIPE: Matcha smoothiebowl
Tools / Necessities:
- Blender
- Bowl
- Spoon
- Small sieve (optional)
Ingredients (for 1 serving):
- 1 banana
- 1 cup mango (fresh or frozen)
- 1 handful spinach
- 100 ml milk of your choice
- 1–2 tsp matcha
- Toppings (optional): raspberries, blueberries, coconut flakes, granola, nuts, chia seeds
Instructions:
- Add the banana, mango, spinach, milk, and matcha to a blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. If needed, add a splash of extra milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl.
- Top with your favorite toppings, such as berries, granola, nuts, chia seeds, or coconut flakes.
